Upper Valley Rowing Foundation
COVID-19 Policy – Effective April 2021
The following Covid-19 protocol for Upper Valley Rowing Foundation members is set up to ensure the safety of all of our members and to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
ALL members choosing to row in a UVRF boat OTHER than a single, must be fully vaccinated.
A fully vaccinated person is one who is 14 days out from either their 2nd dose of a two-dose vaccine regimen or the single dose Johnson & Johnson.
Those who have had the Covid-19 virus and have recovered are NOT considered vaccinated and should refrain from rowing anything other than a single until fully vaccinated.
Documentation of vaccination will be required for anyone rowing in a UVRF team boat (2x, 2-, 4x, 4-, 4+, 8). A secure upload link for your vaccination record will be sent to you after you register for a program that involves team boats. Alternatively, you may send a copy to:
or simply send an email to this address and we will reply with other options for verification.
When you are at Kendal Riverfront Park:
- Continue to adhere to social distancing, wearing of a mask when not on the water and cleansing of hands.
- Wipe down UVRF oars and boats before returning them to the rack.
- Do not row if you are sick or have been in close contact with someone who has Covid-19.
There will be no exceptions to the vaccination policy. The board of directors will continue to assess the changing climate of the Covid-19 situation and will make changes to the policy as needed in order to keep all of our members safe and abide by local ( Hanover ) and state laws.
Addendum: Lebanon Crew has developed a Covid policy which all rowers will follow while they are rowing in the spring program. Once Lebanon Crew has completed their season, all junior rowers will be required to be vaccinated prior to participating in any rowing program at UVRF outside of single sculling.
